Dentures

If you are missing teeth, dentures can provide you with a positive solution to improving your oral health. We are proud to provide custom-made dentures designed to fit specifically in your mouth for proper function, support, and comfort.

Following your appointment, we will provide you with information concerning the at-home care needed for your dentures. We strongly recommend that patients schedule follow-up appointments for periodic professional dental cleanings.

While many people think dentures can limit their diet, dentures significantly broaden your dietary options compared to having missing teeth. Dentures improve your oral health as you have teeth in place to support and protect your gums from decay, bone loss, and gum disease. Dentures provide you protection and comfort while giving you a smile of which you can be proud.

Full Dentures

If you are looking for a full bottom or top replacement solution for missing teeth, then a full set of dentures may be an excellent option for you. Dentures are attached to a gum-colored base, held in place with either suction or an adhesive, and can replace a whole arch of missing natural teeth.

While they are more cost-effective and less invasive than dental implants, full dentures require frequent, lifetime upkeep and maintenance. Because these dentures are completely removable and rest on your gums, they need to be frequently cleaned, just like your natural teeth. By cleaning your dentures regularly, you keep your gums healthy and your dentures looking as good as new.

To begin treatment, we will determine if full dentures are the best option for you. Factors such as oral hygiene, the location of the missing arches, bone strength, and long-term viability for dentures will all determine your treatment plan. Our team starts by taking several sets of dental impressions which will serve as the mold used to create your dentures. The size and shape of the teeth for your denture will be custom designed to ensure the final product provides you with a good fit and bite. Our job is to ensure the look, feel, and functionality of your dentures is naturally-looking and the best it can be.

Once these specifics are determined, the molds are sent to a dental lab which creates a mock-up pair of dentures for you. During a fitting appointment with our team, we will have you test out the mock-up to check how it fits, looks, and feels in your mouth. This is the time you and our team will make adjustments to the fit of the denture or color of the teeth before sending the mock-ups back to the lab for final production. It’s important to note that your absolute honesty is needed as your feedback shapes the final dentures you will receive.

After the final changes are made to the mock-up, the lab will custom build your dentures. After we receive the final design, your last fitting session will be to make small adjustments for comfort, bite, or fit which are all made in-house by our team.

At Cain Denture Centers, we are dedicated to providing best-in-class dental services such as dentures to ensure your oral hygiene and smile are the best they can be.

Partial Dentures

A partial denture is an optimal solution for patients who may be missing one or more teeth in a particular area of their mouth. Removable partial dentures are attached to a gum-colored base which may have a metal framework that helps to hold it in place against the surrounding teeth. These dentures serve to replace missing teeth, restore functionality, and generally improve oral health. When a tooth is lost, and the gap isn’t immediately filled, it can lead to the neighboring teeth to shift; this can create a significant change in your bite and can even cause long-term damage to your gums and jaw bone.

Removable partial dentures are a less invasive method to replace and restore missing teeth than alternative solutions. While they are more cost-effective and less invasive than implants, removable partial dentures require frequent, lifetime upkeep and maintenance. Because these partial dentures are removable and essentially rest on your gums, they need to be frequently cleaned, just like your natural teeth. By cleaning your dentures regularly, you keep your gums healthy and your dentures looking as good as new.

To begin treatment, we will determine if removable partial dentures are the best option for you. Factors such as oral hygiene, the location of the missing tooth gap(s), bone strength, and long-term viability for dentures all determine your treatment plan. Our team will start by taking dental impressions of your teeth which will serve as the mold used to create your dentures. Next, we will review the size, shape, and coloring of each replacement tooth to recreate your natural smile. Once these are determined, we send the molds to a dental lab which creates a mock-up partial denture for you.

During a fitting appointment with our team, we will have you test out the mock-ups to check how they fit, look, and feel in your mouth. This is the time you and our team will make adjustments to the fit or color of the teeth before sending the mock-ups back to the lab for alterations. Remember, your absolute honesty is needed as your feedback shapes the final removable partial denture you will be receiving. Once the final changes have been made to the mock-up, the lab will custom build your dentures. After we receive the final design, your last fitting session will be to make small adjustments for comfort, bite, or fit which can all be made in-house by our team.

At Cain Denture Centers, we are dedicated to providing best-in-class dental services such as removable partial dentures to ensure your oral hygiene and smile is the best it can be.

Denture Relines

Here at Cain Denture Centers, we are proud to offer denture relines for our patients. Denture relines are done to ensure your dentures continue to fit properly.

Over time your mouth changes. The bone and tissue change shape, especially when you lose teeth. This means your dentures will not always fit comfortably. They may pinch and cause sores. Dentures that don’t fit can also wear down the bones and soft tissue in your mouth. They can cause more damage if you don’t have them regularly examined and adjusted (if needed). You may get infections and periodontal disease more easily with ill-fitting dentures.

When we do denture relines, we resurface the side of your dentures that comes in contact with your gums. This is done so you don’t get any sores in your mouth, which can be painful and are definitely unnecessary. We want you to be proud of your smile while still being quite comfortable!

There are also times when the teeth in your dentures become damaged. We can easily repair or replace teeth on your dentures so you can once again be proud of your smile.

Sometimes a denture repair is not so simple. We will do everything we can do to repair your dentures so you don’t have to buy new ones. Even if your dentures break in half (or more pieces), we are dedicated to repairing your dentures.
